The cottage is located within a “Conservation Area” in Windlesham.
This started off as a typical two up two down workers cottage which had been extended over the years.
The main issue with this house was the internal circulation which was cramped by the old staircase. This was solved by extending the entrance porch and repositioning the stairs. The rear conservatory was replaced and this area has been extended further and now features a family friendly living area that leads onto the rear patio with improved connection to adjoining living areas.
The wall between the kitchen and dining room was also removed and now has the advantage of double aspect windows front and rear flooding these areas with natural light.
